This breakfast briefing will explore the different types of employment status, the associated employment rights, and different types of employment contracts.
The Government has pledged that they will abolish the employment status of 'limb (b) worker' leaving just the status of employee and the robustly self-employed. Until that time, however, we are left with this grey area of employment status, 'the worker'. Although there has been hundreds (more likely thousands) of cases involving the status of worker brought over the years, the matter still brings more questions than answers, and don't get us started on IR35!
